Appian Corporation (NASDAQ: APPN): Q3 2019 Earnings Snapshot

— Software solutions provider Appian Corporation (NASDAQ: APPN) reported an adjusted loss of $0.14 per share for the third quarter, vs. $0.15 per share expected.

— On a reported basis, it was a net loss of $12.4 million or $0.19 per share, compared to a loss of $15 million or $0.24 per share in the prior-year quarter

— Total revenue increased 25% year-over-year to $69.4 million, vs. $65.24 million expected

— Subscription revenue advanced 38% annually to $40.4 million

— For the fourth quarter, subscription revenue is expected to be in the range of $42.0 million to $42.5 million, representing a 24-26% annual growth.

— Expects total revenues to between $69.1 million and $70.1 million for the fourth quarter, up 15-16% from last year

— Looking for adjusted loss per share between $0.15 and $0.14 for the December quarter
